Cradled in the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest, the headquarters of Talaris Research Institute was designed to provide the optimum environment for brain research. Labs will be dedicated to developmental and cognitive psychology, speech and language science, molecular biology, genetics, computer science, and educational research complete with experimental classrooms. It will house the world's most sophisticated brain imaging equipment, including the first infant MEG (magnetoencephalography) device ever developed. With a talented multi-disciplinary group of scientists and researchers from all over the world sponsored by Talaris, an onsite childcare facility, and an outreach team charged with communicating scientific discoveries to the rest of the world, Talaris has a singular hope: to foster research which will outlive us all.
